Xiaomi entered the Indian smartphone market in July 2014 with the brand name of 'MI India', and since then has emerged as a big market player. The company mainly supplies android based mobiles in the diverse price range for all the sections of the Indian society. Though, most of the smartphones launched in India by Xiaomi, have done good business, but, out of all, the Redmi Note 3, has enlisted itself as the highest shipped smartphone in India's online market. Xiaomi has sold over 2 million smartphones in the third quarter (Q3) 2016 in India and saw a 150 plus percent growth compared to Q3 2015.
Redmi Note 3 operates on an MIUI 7 based Android 5.1 Lollipop and features a 5.5-inch full HD display. The phone runs on a hexacore Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor, with 2GB RAM and 16GB/32GB internal storage. This Xiaomi smartphone is backed up by a 4050 mAh battery. The rear camera on the device features a 16MP camera sensor, while the front side features a 5MP sensor.
