American Auto Major Ford India has unveiled its new Endeavour with strong and solid looks. On Tuesday April 29, 2014, the new SUV is launched for Indian car enthusiasts with stylish and attractive looks. Its predecessor went on roads from 2009 and the first Endeavour came in existence from 2003. Now, the latest SUV has appeared with newer built.
It comes in three variants; first has 3.0L diesel engine with 4 Wheel Drive automatic transmission; second variant has 2.5L diesel engine with 4x2 manual transmission and the third one gets 3.0 diesel engine with 4x2 automatic transmission. All these three variants are priced at Rs 23,06,302, Rs. 19,83,898 and Rs. 21,28,119 respectively.
This 2014 Ford Endeavour looks more stylish, sporty and comfortable from its previous models and gets a fresh aggressive design with new headlamps, solid grille, 12 spoke alloy wheels and many more. The interior of the SUV features new steering wheel and the audio control is mounted on the steering wheel to make your drive uninterruptible. It also gets rear parking camera.
Its electric shift-on-fly feature will allow you to switch from two wheel drive to 4 wheel drive mode when you are on the inclined or climbing terrain. The 4X4 and 4×2 automatic variant come with cruise control. When going through safety point then, it is loaded with ABS, front airbags, central locking, engine immobilizer, anti theft alarm etc.
The 4X4 and 4×2 automatic variant generate maximum power of 156 PS, revolving at 3200 RPM and pull the car with 380 Nm of peak torque at 2500 RPM. Its 2.5L 4X2 MT variant develops 143 PS of peak power at 3500 RPM and 330 Nm of peak torque. Endeavour with new fog lamp enhances the car’s looks and appeal.
