Now, BMW is planning to upgrade its list of tourer motorcycle for 2015 line-up with K1600 GTL. The company has initiated a range of tourer models with class beating specification, which is more standard and luxury. Previously, the BMW Motorrad announced the K1600 GTL and K1600 LT in 2012, and then the company replaced the K1600 LT by the K1600 GTL in 2012. The K1600 GTL is a luxury tourer motorcycle that comes with a complete luxurious package and new paint finishes.
The new version of BMW K1600 GTL has come on-road. This is the first time when the upcoming motorcycle was being spied during its testing. The K1600 GTL and K1600 LT motorcycles were unveiled in the INTERMOT motorcycle show at Cologne in October 2010. Now, the company plans to unveil the 2015 K1600 GTL in the upcoming INTERMOT show, which will be going to held at the same place in the first week of October, 2014. The motorcycle receives whole new level of specifications that will not only offer a comfortable ride but also enhance the safety and performance. It comes with some cosmetic and technological changes that will add more taste in the style and performance of the motorcycle. However, the motorcycle is equipped with luxurious features such as Hill Start Control, ride-by-wire throttle control, Adaptive Headlights with Xenon Technology and Keyless Ride that will meet you with its dynamic riding quality.
This motorcycle is powered by a 1,649cc oil/water-cooled, four-stroke, in-line and 6-cylinder engine that is capable of producing a maximum power of 160Hp at 7,750RPM and 175Nm of torque at 5,250RPM to the rear wheel through 6 speed shaft drive. The manufacturer made some changes in safety components which are daytime running lights, hill climb assist. This motorcycle comes fitted with a high safety objects such as an electronic suspension adjustment, three power modes, adjustable windshield and dynamic traction control as standard, which will make your ride as enjoyable as possible.
Relatively, the price of this motorcycle will be a little bit higher because of its high end features, where the previous model of BMW K1600 GTL is priced at INR 36.28 Lakh in the Indian market.
