The American automobile maker, Ford has finally unpacked its next generation Endeavour with the upgraded exterior and interior features. The runabout will be arriving next year in the various markets of the countries, such as India, China, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. It was firstly revealed by the name of Everest concept last year in Sydney, then the vehicle had made its first appearance at the 2014 Bangkok Motor Show. The production version gets some changes and the alloy wheels of the SUV are completely new as well as the suspension setup is also updated. At the front, the car includes coil spring setup, while the rear axle comprises a watt’s linkage.
The Asia Pacific design of Ford Endeavour and the product development teams have excellently engineered and improved this carriage alongside the rear wheel drive as well as all wheel drive systems. The dimensions of the seven seater SUV are yet to be revealed, but the car receives the transcendent ground clearance of 225 mm. The Ford Endeavour will have the boot space of 2,010 litres and the occupants will be able to fold the second and third row seats. Notably, the runabout will facilitate the driver to produce the torque according to his requirement with the Terrain Management system, which holds four setting, namely Normal, Snow, Sand and Rock.
Inside the cabin, the new SUV from Ford unifies the SYNC2 multimedia system alongside the latest 8 inch touchscreen system comprising colour coded corners, voice command and automatic climate control. The carriage will be accessible with two diesel variants and one petrol variants, like 3.2-litre 5-cylinder diesel, 2.2-litre 4-cylinder diesel engines and a 2.0-litre twin-scroll EcoBoost petrol mill.
