2015 Triumph Thunderbird Night Storm Showcased at EICMA 2014

Triumph Thunderbird is not an ordinary name in the field of cruiser bikes. The well-known name in the motorcycle manufacturing to make your ride expeditious has come to EICMA 2014 and showcased its 2015 model Thunderbird Night Storm, brushed with stalwart visuals. Bringing the blacked out styling to this Special Edition, the maker has done a good paint job on this cruiser.

This bike is based on Thunderbird Storm which gained huge love for its hard-edged styling and the new is engineered with the same concept to give it more attitude and styling. The cruiser has tried its best to oust as much chrome as it can, and painted it with black. Exhaust, Mirrors, control plates, handlebars, gear brake and gear levers; all are glossed with the same black color, including the saddle.

The exhaust gets a special treatment for high temperature heat-resistant, garnished with black coating. Tank is hand painted by workmen in dual tone finish and the Triumph logo too. However, cooling fins and cam bore inserts are left untouched to show radiance in the whole dark body. It was earlier reported that 6 bikes of this auto major will make entry to thrill the event with their roar.

Parallel-Twin cylinder engine keeps the Thunderbird’s real zeal active with 1699cc displacement. That would be adequate to pump the heart of the Night Storm. This will make it capable to deliver 97 hp peak power and 156 Nm of maximum torque at 2950 RPM. So, we can say that, it runs on the same track with old Thunder Storm in performance. Dual four-piston calipers and Triumph’s standard ABS are same for breaking purpose. The Nightstorm is structured with 47 mm forks, placed on front and dual shock absorbers at rear can also be seen in this motorcycle.

It gives the assurity of engaging ride and smooth power delivery, because twin balancer shafts and a sophisticated sequential fuel injection system are here to spectacular, power-packed performance. This cruiser’s instrument cluster and twin tripmeters contain clock. Metzeler Marathon tires for five-spoke alloy wheels make the ride splendid. It is said that $15,499 will be grabbed from buyers’ pocket for this 2015 Thunderbird Nightstorm Special Edition and will be going to sale in February 2015 for European market.
