"New Beast. Same Bloodlines" this line is written over the TVS's official website showcasing the whole new Apache RTR 180. The company is planning to introduce its flagship racing motorcycle, TVS Apache RTR 180 with an updated version. The motorcycle has been the tough competitor of Bajaj Pulsar 180 for so long. The manufacturer has a state of mind of introducing and launching a new product in every quarter and this time the company will bring up an updated version of Apache RTR 180.
The updated version doesn't change the technical figures of the motorcycle; it is supposedly to receive some cosmetic makeover over the existing model. In the updated version, you will be seeing a whole new Combi braking system, alike to Honda, an improved ABS system is also on the chart. All these new updates will also be present in the upcoming prototype 250cc variant of the Apache RTR, which will get scheduled for a 2015 launch.
Apart from that, both the upcoming motorcycles, Apache RTR 180 and Apache RTR 250, will be receiving balancers, which will be taking care of the vibrations of the motorcycles. The tyres of the updated version would be catered by Michelin. The upcoming 250cc variant will be highly inspired by the existing 180cc model, as the indicators, footrest, front-mudguard, grips over the handlebar and the complete rear disc brake assemble are seems to appear alike in the showcased model of the 250cc variant.
Hence, the details regarding the upcoming 250 cc variant have not been revealed yet by the manufacturer, but it is for sure that this motorcycle will truly be based upon the concept model Draken, which was showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo, 2015. Now moving towards the pricing section, the new 250cc variant is expected to be priced in between Rs 1.30 Lakh to Rs 1.40 Lakh (Ex-Showroom Price).
