2016 Hero Hunk Facelift revealed, priced at Rs 69,725 (Ex-showroom, Delhi)

Facelift Hero Hunk, the most popular 150cc motorcycle from Hero family, is now on the set of the launch. The new arrival has been listed on the company official website that is ready for sale. The company has priced the single disc variant at Rs. 69,725 (Ex-showroom, Delhi) and Rs. 72,825 (Ex-showroom Delhi) for the double disc brake variant. It is the second motorcycle after the Xtreme Sports that is coming in the new look. The motorcycle is available in six colors- Bold Brown, Panther Black, Matte Black, Ebony Grey, Force Silver and Blazing Red.

For the eyesight, the 2016 model has received some cosmetic attributes that include revised headlamp, an updated instrument cluster with side stand alarm, crash guard and saree guard. The rest of the parts remain the same that includes tail unit, rear view mirrors and indicators. The lower section of the motorcycle sprayed with the black color that includes alloy wheels, suspension and exhaust. The suspension duties are taken care of by front telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers and rear swing arm with five-step adjustable inverted gas reservoir suspension.

Braking performance will be managed by the 240 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc. The lover variant gets a 130 mm drum setup in the rear. The motorcycle weighs 130kg and has a ground clearance of 163mm.

In terms of technical specifications, the 2016 Hero Hunk is powered by the same 149.2 cc air-cooled SOHC motor that also used in Hero Xtreme Sports. The motorcycle has been tuned to produce 15.6 BHP of peak power at 8500 RPM and 13.5 Nm of torque at 7000 RPM. The motor is paired to a five speed transmission.

The new Hero Hunk will compete with its closest rivals- Suzuki Gixxer, Bajaj Pulsar 150, Yamaha FZ-S and upcoming Honda CB Hornet 160R.
