While all the automobile giants from across the world were showcasing their new products at the 2016 Auto Expo, the Austrian two-wheeler maker KTM has pinched quietly with the launch of the all new RC390 to Indian commercial automotive market. Sticking to the same price of Rs. 2.13 Lakhs as the older version, the sports Tourer will incorporate some prominent technical updations. The official website of KTM has been updated with the 2016 model range.
2015 EICMA Motorcycle Show witnessed the official unveiling of the RC390, which is held in Milan. Some fine noticeable features of the bike are slipper clutch, ride-by-wire technology and 320mm front disc brake, which is bigger now. To meet the Euro VI norms, it now adds a new aluminium exhaust pipe. But, on a sad note, all these changes are abstained for the India-specific variant. The KTM RC390 Indian model will only get slipper clutch. Moreover, it has done rework upon rear view mirrors and radiator fans, plus there are adjustable handlebar levers, new pillion seat assembly and always-on headlamps.

Though, it is quite disappointing that the company is not offering the updates on the Indian models, but on a good part, prices are remained untouched. It is going to compete with the existing fully-faired Yamaha YZF-R3 and Kawasaki Ninja 300.
