Nissan X-Trail Hybrid, which was earlier showcased at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo, has been spotted on the Chennai roads. As a second generation model, it is going to be launched in the second quarter of this year and recapture the Indian car market. Moreover, the car will be imported via CBU (Completely Built Unit) route and will be priced between a range of INR 32 Lakhs to INR 35 Lakhs (EX-showroom).
As reports reveal, the Indian auto market will celebrate only the hybrid version of this car and will affect the other segment's sales graph. The vital responsibilities of a hybrid engine will be taken care of by a 2.0-litre petrol engine along with a 31 kW electric motor that'll make a power of about 190 Bhp and torque of 367 Nm. To send the power at AWD, the motor will come attached with a CVT gearbox.
In a bid to make it more impressive, Nissan has assigned many advanced features such as V-grille, heavily flared wheel arches and swoopy headlights. Dimensionally, it measures 4,640 mm long, 1,820 mm wide, 1,715 mm tall and a long wheelbase of 2,075 mm.
Well, there is no further detail available as of now, we could expect all these prior to its official launch. As the Indian automobile market has not much competition for the hybrid SUV car option, it would attract more buyers.
