Auto Italia Evolution has posted some rendered images of what they think the 2017 Fiat Punto will look like. It is expected that the car will go on sale in the some specific global markets by the first half of next year. We are unknown with the fact yet, but some rumours have been suggesting the car as a replacement of both Fiat Punto and Fiat Palio as well as could be christened with a new name.
Based on a stretched version of the Fiat 326 platform that is carried out from the Palio and UNO, but measures under 4 meters. In terms of the powertrain, the 2017 Fiat Punto can be powered by the same engines that are currently packed under the bonnet of the ongoing model.

Pursuing the details, it would be a 1.4-litre petrol engine, which is good for 100 Bhp of power. On the other hand, a 1.3-litre MultiJet diesel engine is also on the list. Though details are not clear, however, we can expect a manual transmission with the motor as a standard attachment while an automatic unit as an option.
Coming to the design, it has rendered with a tweaked grille, a wider bumper, sharper tail lamps and five-spoke alloy wheels. Inside, the new Punto could feature with a new steering wheel, U-Connect infotainment system, and city drive mode.
