2017 Kawasaki Versys 650 and 1000LT introduced in USA

The revamped pair of the MY2017 Versys 650 and MY2017 Versys 1000LT are on sale at price tag of $ 8,099 and $ 12,999 respectively, in the USA.

After the official revealing of the Versys X300 at EICMA 2016, Kawasaki did not hold up for a long time to add the new versions of the bigger Versys models, and silently setting up the models in the US and the UK websites of the Kawasaki.

The Versys 650 receives a gear position indicator, something which ought to be standard in all large capacity motorcycles, and GPS mount as an extra featuring. The windscreen gets 2 inches of tool-free adjustment facility which will prove comfortable for highway cruising. The bike offers a long travel suspension, low-mid range torque and comfortable riding position to improve dynamic performance as per the current need. All LT models will get the aids of 24 month’s standard warranty which can be further extended to 48 months.

The Versys 1000LT gets a set of colour coordinated 28 litre (each) hard saddlebags with an integrated mounting system. It uses the start key for saddlebag opening and elimination from the bike. It also featured with a gear position indicator and tool-free adjustable windscreen and handle guards. The standard Versys 1000 has witnessed the only the change of instrument console and an easily adjustable visor.

The powerplant is the similar 1,043 cc in-line four-pot engine producing 120 PS of power at 9,000 rpm and 102 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. Other than this, a large touring windscreen is also availed as an accessory. While, Colour variants include the change in the form of a new Metallic Spark Black with red decals.
