New Kawasaki Z250, which has been updated for the stringent BS-IV emission norms, was launched in April 2017. Still, the official images of the 2017 Kawasaki Z250 BS-IV were not available online. Recently, one of the visitors at Mumbai showroom snapped the motorcycle and produced images of 2017 model to the motoring forum, Motoroids. With a new paint job and gold plated alloy wheels, the 2017 Z250 looks head turner. Besides, he also clicked some images of its elder sibling, the new White Kawasaki Z650 at the dealership.
Mechanically, the 2017 Kawasaki Z250 is powered by the same 249cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin motor. But it is now BS-IV compliant. Without any performance compromise, the mill continues to develop 32hp of maximum power at 11,000rpm and 21Nm of peak torque at 10,000 with the help of a mated six-speed gearbox. Like before, the motorcycle has not been equipped with the advanced safety of ABS, even as an option.
