2017 KTM 390 Duke Spied, Featuring 1290 SuperDuke Style Headlamp

For all those who were keenly waiting for the next-generation KTM 390 Duke, it appears like their wait is finally over. The upcoming production model of the same has been spied at Bajaj's Chakan plant and soon it is going to the replace the current version. As per the latest spy image beneath Vignesh Manickavasagam Photography, the new KTM Duke 390 has been shared at the social media channel, Facebook.

According to the visuals, the revamped variant has got an entirely fresh design as compared to the old one with KTM 1290 SuperDuke headlamp as one of the important modifications. Apart from this, it features an instrument cluster that resembles of the 1290 SuperDukes'. A flat handlebar and grips are being inherited from the current version only, though they get a black paint scheme now. Besides, you would also find an adjustable brake and clutch lever on the new model.

Talking more about the designing cues, the next-generation 2017 KTM 390 Duke acquires an extended tank design with a different paint scheme. The sub-frame is uncovered as well, though it's not new as we have seen it on the 1290 SuperDuke. Under the hood, the new variant is going to get a motor, which is completely a Euro 4 compliant engine and generate more power than the current version, which churns out 43 British Horsepower presently.

The anticipated arrival of the motorcycle in India is at the beginning of next year. That means the production will start taking place from October this year, suggests the Facebook post. As per the price perspective, the updated KTM 390 Duke will carry a bit higher price tag than the current outgoing model.
