2017 Nissan GT-R Arrived in India! Advanced Bookings Open

Well, the Godzilla is finally at the Indian soil; not the one who had smashed up the buildings and cities in the movies, but the one who won millions of hearts in the battle of machines - the Super GT racing series in the years 2011 and 2012.  Yeah! We are talking about the Nissan GT-R, most alluring in personality, dynamic in nature, rich and roomy inside; overall a perfect amalgamation of power, styling and performance. The beast is finally here in the country and is likely to be launched by the end of this year.

Like most of the supercars, it will also be imported here via the CBU (Completely Built Unit) route and hence will make you run for a heavy price tag. One of the six images of the model in question that arrived last week at the Mumbai airport for custom clearance has also been rendered online. In India, the first lucky customer who will get the chance to sit behind the wheels of the Nissan GT-R is the famous bollywood actor John Abraham.

Who can forget its presence at the 2016 Auto Expo earlier held in Delhi, where it had bewitched the crowd by its aesthetic appeal and now it’s not so far to do the same on the Indian roads. Besides, an advanced booking for the car has already been commenced in India that requires a token amount of INR 25 Lakhs. The delivery will be started soon after the launch of vehicle in the country on a first-come, first-serve based formula.

Mechanically, the GT-R will be powered by a 3.8-litre 24-valve V6 twin turbocharged engine that will lead the car with a maximum power of 570 PS at 6800 rpm with a peak torque of 637 Nm. Further, the engine is mated with a 6-speed dual clutch transmission to throw the power at wheels. Along with all these arrangements, it can propel the car from naught to 100 kmph under 3 seconds that is quite a good number to beat any of its competitors. Pricing aspects have not been lightened up by the company yet, but it is expected to be tagged at INR 2 Crore.
