The orange variant of the new Micra also gets an orange inserts inside the cabin as the black seats have orange stitching, and doors and dashboards also have orange inserts.
Mechanically, no changes have been observed in this revived hatchback, it will continue to be offered with the engine options such as 1.2 litre petrol and 1.5 litre diesel powertrains. The former one, along with three-cylinders generates 77PS of power and 104Nm of torque via an integrated CVT(continous variable transmission). While, the latter one produces 64PS and 160Nm through the mated a 5-speed manual transmission.
The 2017 fourth-gen Micra, which has received some new additions, is a more attractive package than the previous car. In India, it will lock its horns with the available hatchbacks such as the Maruti Ignis and the Hyundai Grand i10. However, the rumors surfaced in the market were the introduction of fifth-gen Micra, that’s much longer, wider and lower and looks completely different than this fourth gen Micra. Expectations are if Nissan rethinks about the fifth gen Micra introduction we can see it in next year. Now, we can only examine that the new Micra with added features will be able to allure a wide range of audience or not.
