Luxury SUV maker, Land Rover has announced a series of technical upgrades to its flagship SUV, Range Rover. The 2017 Range Rover will also be introduced with a new variant named - SVAutobiography Dynamic.
The Tata Motors-owned British auto major will launch its 2017 Range Rover model with a Jaguar F-Type borrowed 3.0-litre supercharged V6 petrol engine which is tuned to churn out a maximum power of 335 hp in combination with a peak torque of 450 Nm. It is capable of pushing the vehicle to 100 kmph from standstill in suitable 7.1 seconds.
What is so Special about SVAutobiography Dynamic Trim?
However, the SVAutobiography is already on sell, adding a ‘Dynamic’ emblem will further enhance the dynamics of the SUV. The suspension has been re-tuned and now the ride height sits 8mm lower than its ongoing model, in order to add smoothness on off-roads and to make it more driver-focused. Other things done to its body include the new chrome quad exhaust pipes, custom alloy wheels and red coloured Brembo brakes.
Besides lots of new features, the SV-Autobiography Dynamic trim continue to be powered by the brand’s powerful supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine, which also powers the Sport SVR. It can accelerate the super hot SUV from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.1 seconds.
And What About the Tech Updates?
The 2017 models will be fully loaded with the technology-genius features such as Driver awareness monitor, traffic signal recognition system, blind spot monitor, reverse traffic detection, intelligent speed limiter which automatically adjusts the vehicle speed by reading traffic signs. Besides all these assistance, the new 2017 Range Rover will also feature JLR’s latest ‘InControl Touch Pro’ smart infotainment system.
The 2017 Range Rover will go on sale in the European markets by the end of this year. Though, it has yet to be confirmed from the JLR, whether the 2017 models will make their way to India or not. But, it has confirmed that India is on the list of the 2017 Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic trim recipients.
