Yamaha Vietnam has premiered a lifestyle scooter concept, christened as Yamaha Glorious Concept at recently passed 2017 Vietnam Motorcycle Show. Albeit, the production plans for the Yamaha Glorious has not been confirmed by the Yamaha Vietnam. Nevertheless, it is being claimed to pave way for a ‘glorious future in Vietnam’.
Optically, Yamaha Glorious draws design inspiration from high-end musical instruments to pay homage to the rich legacy of the Yamaha’s music division. In terms of featuring, the Glorious is embellished with LED headlamp and taillamp. In addition to this, it also gets digital instrumentation console which comprises of the fuel gauge, speedometer, clock and temperature teller. A Bluetooth logo is also the part of instrument console which indicates smartphone connectivity option, which may offer easy message readout on the display.
The handlebar in the Yamaha Glorious is pretty sleek and only gets an engine start button and a horn switch. A petal disc brake unit has been appeared at the front wheel to offer safety and confidence while braking. The rear section of the Yamaha Glorious will definitely make you speechless with its chiseled curves and edges.
At the powering front, it is expected to be bolted with the 155 cc mill shared from the Yamaha NVX 155. The VVA mill is said to churn out 15 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm along with 13.8 Nm of peak torque at 6,250 rpm. While the exhaust canister seems inspired from the Yamaha NVX 155.
The Yamaha Glorious is the creativity of the Yamaha Japan, but when will it hit the production line, no official information has been revealed yet.
