The Japanese manufacturer has introduced new 2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid edition in the country. The car is certainly the future of hybrid electric vehicles and sustainability. Although the exterior is not updated that much, it gets a new automatic LED headlamps and a wide chrome grille. The chrome finish to the outer mirror and side visor make it look completely shiny and new. The Camry takes 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with 215/55 R17 tubeless radial tyres.
The interior of the Camry hybrid edition is quite fancy and comfortable as well. The interior comes with new centre console, steering wheel, wooden centre cluster, welcome lamp, tan-painted upholstery along with a carbon-wood finish to the dashboard, head-up display, and the new door trims. The four-spoke steering wheel wears a new form of a three-spoke unit. Coming to the placatory attributes, it has an eight-way adjustable front seat, memory function, a wireless charging pad, front seats with lumbar support, memory ventilation, power-reclining rear seats, three-zone climate control and collapsible headrests.

The touchscreen infotainment unit gets navigation and Bluetooth assistance and Aux-in connectivity choices. It also gets a 12-speaker audio system.
The Camry Hybrid takes power from a 2.5-litre, in-line four-cylinder engine generating a peak power of 160 hp at 5,750rpm and a peak torque of 213Nm at 4,500rpm. To support the system, it uses a 650V synchronous motor generating 143hp of peak power and 270Nm of max torque. The hybrid system takes assistance from a 245V Nickel-metal hydride battery of 6.5Ah. The hybrid car can drive in two modes including ECO and EV along with a max power of 205hp.
Safety is the major concern for driver and passenger and Camry is very safe with a host of loaded safety features. It has an ABS with EBD, nine SRS airbags, vehicle stability control (VSC), brake assist, an electronically regulated brake system, ISOFIX, hill-start assist control and top tether anchor for child seats.
