With a price tag of Rs 5.20 crore (ex-showroom), the much-awaited Ferrari 812 Superfast has made a grand Indian debut. The 812 Superfast sportscar claims its lineage to the hugely popular F12 Berlinetta and carries the tag for being the Italian car makers most powerful and fastest offering.
The two-door beast made its global debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. The 812 Superfast is powered by the signature V12 engine with the Prancing Horse logo. The V12 enters its 70th year since inception. The 6.5-litre engine churns out 789 bhp of power at 8,500 rpm and 718 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm in the 812 Superfast. The 812 Superfast V12 engine is coupled to the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The specific gear ratios enable faster gear switch by reducing up-down shifting time. Aided by this advanced mill, the 812 superfast can gain 100 km per hour acceleration in only 2.9 seconds to cloak peak speed of over 340 km/h. The rear wheel steering system operates on the indigenous Virtual Short Wheelbase 2.0 system (PCV)

On the design front, the premium offering sports a borrowed yet altered stance of the F12 Berlinetta. The plunging bonnet makes up the rear cabin. The modern heavy boot perfectly reflects the signature GT cars design.The front full LED Lights blend perfectly with the sculpted air intakes on the bonnet. The front bumper, as well as the wheel arches, bestow the much-desired muscle sportscar appeal to the beast.
Further, this Ferrari baby comes equipped with electric power steering to enhance maneuverability. The electric power steering is the first of its kind in a Ferrari model.
