The champion of the motorcycle racing world, Aprilia, has recently made an announced that they will be going to showcase their all new Aprilia Caponord 1200 Rally at the INTERMOT, 2014. Well, the company has kept its promise and the motorcycle has got a chance to make its debut at the International Motorcycle show. The 1200 Rally has been displayed by the manufacturer on yesterday evening at the fair, which is going on in Cologne, Germany.
The Aprilia Caponord 1200 Rally is powered by a liquid-cooled, 90-degree V-Twin engine with an engine displacement of 1197cc. The engine is capable to generate a total power of 123.2 BHP and a peak torque of 114.66 Nm. The power plant of the motorcycle is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox via a multi-plate hydraulic wet clutch.
To enhance the riding capability of the motorcycle, the company has given inverted telescopic front forks and rear monoshock, which are being catered by Sachs. The company has added its patent ACC and ADD to provide dynamic riding experience for its riders. As, it is a tourer-based motorcycle, it is being blessed with fuel tank having a capacity of 24 liters.
Talking about the styling features, carried by the newly launched Aprilia Caponord 1200 Rally is pretty much related to its theme of touring. Being a tourer motorcycle, it is featuring a 19-inch spoke wheels. The other major highlights of the motorcycle are its larger windshield, LED DRL's and the most important thing is the hard pannier assembly made up of aluminum.
The braking power of the Aprilia Caponord 1200 Rally has been taken care by Brembo disc brakes at both front and rear along with switchable ABS. The manufacturer has given different control systems which suit all the riding styles.
