As per an image posted online, Aprilia SR150 that was on sale in Matte Black and Glossy White with a red graphics work has now got four new colours. The range of new colours includes Metallic Green, Metallic Silver, Metallic Light Blue and Metallic Dark Blue. the pricing for these new colour addition will be same as the existing models.
In the variants there is also an option for buyers who want to opt something more sportier or racier trim that is a MotoGP racing motorcycle- the RS-GP inspired graphics scooter named as the SR 150 Race. Other than the MotoGP racing graphics work, the race edition comes equipped with the components such as the red seat along with red alloy wheels, gold-plated front caliper, aggressive muffler and much more.
In the Indian market, the Aprilia SR 150 considered as a cross of a sporty bike and scooter. The designing and engineering of the bike were taken care in Italy. While, the manufacturing of the scooter is being handled at the Piaggio production unit in Baramati, Maharashtra.
Under the seat, the Aprilia SR 150 comes loaded with a 154.4cc four-stroke air-cooled carburetor engine. Mated to a CVT transmission the engine is capable of developing the peak power of 10.4bhp and 11.4Nm of peak twisting force. The alloy wheels that propel the scooter are 14” five-spoke wheels identical in terms of appearance to the Aprilia bikes compete in Moto GP championship circuits.
Other noteworthy features on the Aprilia SR 150 comprises a steel frame structure, a twin pod analog instrument cluster, front apron mounted twin-pod headlight and tubeless tires.
