The Aprilia Storm 125 was initially showcased at the Auto Expo 2018 alongside its sibling the SR 125. As compared to the SR 125 which is a sportier offering with racing DNA, the Storm 125 is off-road centric with smaller 12-inch wheels and chunky dual-purpose tyres measuring 120/80-section at the front and 130/80-section at the rear. Other than the colour schemes including matte yellow and matte red with carved graphics enhances the offroad-centric character of the scooter.
FYI, the Aprilia Storm 125 has launched in the country at an affordable pricing of INR 65,000 (ex-showroom). The Aprilia dealerships confirmed its unofficial launch and started accepting bookings for the scooter. There is no fixed, official token amount to book the scooter, it varies from INR 500 to INR 5,000 depending upon the dealership. The deliveries against booked product are being expected to commence in coming one or two weeks of this month.
