Just a few weeks back, we learned that the German automaker Audi will be bringing loads of vehicles and facelift versions of already present cars in India, thanks to its 40% increased sales this year in the country. Now, the company has started to play the games and many of its plans are taking shape among which the import of Audi A6 Facelift for testing is the latest news. The car will be break the covers sometime next year before getting launched in 2016 and going for sale in 2017. The other launches which are almost confirmed by the company are Audi A4 facelift for now, which will be launched next year.
Coming back to the Audi A6 facelift, the car will be getting a few tweaks inside, outside and in mechanical parts as well. The cosmetic changes will be similar to what Audi A8 saloon got last year, making this A6 Facelift look a bit sharper and elegant in style with new tech stuff, improved infotainment system and few changes inside the car cabin. Talking mechanically, the engines will remain same that is 2.0 Liter and 3.0 Litre, but will be tuned up for better performance. There would also be a new 7-Speed automatic gear box delivering power to its front wheels, replacing the old 8-step CVT transmission.
The new materials used in manufacturing will also reduce its weight, making it both lighter and faster on the roads. The pricing hasn't been decided yet by the company, but there would definitely a little hike in it.
