The German automaker Audi has finally confirmed that it'll be bringing the new updated R8 sports car at the Geneva Motor Show 2015. Along with the that, the electric version Audi R8 E-tron would also share the stage as well. One of Audi's board member Ulrich Hackenberg spotted saying “That (e-tron) will be introduced with the successor of the R8, and we will have the first example of the car...in next March, at Geneva, so you will, it's done.” These new Audi cars have already created a buzz in the market with their optimistic power performance and design as well.
Talking about the engine, this Audi R8 successor will be powered by a 4.2 Litre V8 and a more powerful 5.2 Litre V10 engine as well to offer the talk-to-the-wind like experience for its driver and co-passenger. These two engines are inherited from the Lamborghini Huracan. Coming to the cosmetic changes, the car has been built my using carbon fiber and aluminum with a longer wheelbase and a little wider track.
This time, Audi has also decided to not to offer any sort of manual transmission system on the car, but only transmitting power via using its S tronic 7-Speed automatic transmission system. Well, let just wait to let the Audi take the curtains off from it and then we'll discuss about it.
