Audi Q3 Facelift to Start Running on the Indian Ways from June 18

For the very first time, the Audi Q3 was brought to India in this same ongoing month, back in 2012 from Martorell plant of Audi placed in Spain. After 15 months (in September 2013), its assembly was commenced at the Aurangabad plant as well as an entry level Q3 S version had also been launched. Now, the German car manufacturer has planned for the next launch of this model with impressive updates, which has been decided to take place on June 18, 2015.

Aesthetically, the facelift model will have a latest front fascia, including a Singleframe grille, revamped headlights with optional LEDs and new bumper comprising larger airdams. However, its side and rear profile will come with new alloy wheels and redesigned rear bumper, respectively. Coming inside, where it's expected to receive new steering wheel and amazing furnishings on the door trims as well as on its dashboard.

Under the hood, the Audi Q3 facelift will continue to be powered by the same 2.0 litre TDI four cylinder diesel engine that gets paired to a 7-speed S-tronic gearbox for sending the churned out power, 177 bhp and 380 Nm to the all wheels via a Quattro All Wheel Drive system.

Audi India is also aiming to relaunch its Q3 S with a Front Wheel Drive system instead of an AWD, alongside an automatic and a 6-speed manual transmissions. Anticipated to be priced between INR 28 Lac to INR 38 Lac, this hatchback model will throw down the likes of the BMW X1 and Mercedes GLA.
