Audi has officially unveiled the images of its new R8 e-Tron prior to the Geneva Motor Show debut, which will be commencing from the day after tomorrow, while the press release is starting from today. As this vehicle has been appearing on the internet and hence, its almost all outer properties are visible for everyone while ratifying that it gets various latest as well as unique components as compared to the current version. Now, coming to the updated features that includes a smiley face with horizontal LED light strips, split grille, renovated rear gills, stunning rear bumper, e-tron badge and redesigned wheels.
Interestingly, the Audi R8 2.0 is powered by two electric motors and not any fuel mill option will be introduced. The impressive 92 kWh battery pack would make this runabout capable to cover the distance of 450 km. Moreover, the battery comes with T-shaped layout that will be situated in the center tunnel behind the passenger compartment. Thanks to the use of on board charging (CCS) enabling to charge along with DC as well as AC, so that the battery can be fully charged within two hours.
Both electric motors will be combined together to produce astounding power of 462 hp and stupendous torque of 920 Nm. Notably, it can achieve the appreciable speed of 100 km/h from a stand still position in just 3.9 seconds ahead of hitting the electronically limited top speed of 210 km/h.
