Audi TT Geared Up to Hit the Indian Showroom on April 23

The well prominent German luxury car manufacturer, Audi has finally given the confirmation that it will hit the Indian shores on April 23, 2015 by again introducing its TT Coupe with noteworthy upgrades. In spite of having a 37 mm longer wheelbase, this vehicle will be 50 kg lighter than its current model. The production of this latest coupe has been commenced at the Audi's Hungarian plant and will be brought via CBU (Completely Build Unit) route in the country, including all taxes its price will be between the range of INR 60 Lacs to INR 70 Lacs.

Overall the car would render a sporty look with awesome aesthetic features as well as it comprises spectacular equipments alongside Audi's Virtual Cockpit for integrating the MMI screen to the instrument cluster. Just like the jet turbine, the Audi TT Coupe gets AC vents, which includes integrated control to adjust the temperature. Based on the MQB platform, this runabout will be available in the Indian market in 45TFSI variant, comprising a 2.0 litre four cylinder petrol engine producing power of 230 hp and torque of 370 Nm.

Its all four wheels will receive power from the company's Quattro AWD system and a 6-speed DSG transmission. Ahead of marking a top speed of 253 km/h, the TT can be accelerated up to 100 km/h starting from zero in just 5.3 seconds.

Audi India is also expected to make the appearance of this model in oil burner version with a 2.0 litre TDI diesel engine. Notably, it will give a tremendous impedance against the Mercedes SLK Class and BMW Z4.
