It's hasn't been too long when we informed you about the testing of new Audi TT 2015 on the German roads with camouflage and now its has been spotted testing on the Indian road without any covers on it. Though it's the lighter version of Audi TT, that is the 2015 TFSI variant with lower power and torque. The car was initially displayed to the world at the Geneva Motor Show will be on sale in the European market at the end of this year or the beginning of the next year.
The Audi TT which was caught testing in India is the less powerful TFSI variant and gets its power from a 2.0 Litre 4-Cylinder turbocharged engine with the capacity of producing the 230 hp and 370 Nm torque. However, the same engine offers the 310 hp power and 380 N of torque on the Audi TT-S model. Apart from these two, there would be a 2.0 Litre diesel variant too, and this will produce the 184 hp power and 380 Nm torque. All the variants will have the 6-speed manual and DSG transmission options available with top model having the Quattro drive.
The best thing about the new Audi TT is that its 50 KG lighter than it's current model or at least this is what the company is claiming and if it's true, then I guess every car buyer knows the relation weight and speed as the former is inversely proportional to the latter. The car is expected to launch in India via the CBU route at the end of this year or early next year.
