Audi has come up with a unique designed six-door A8 limousine. This is said to be the extended version of the A8 limousine. The extended model now measures 6.36 metres in length long and gets a wheelbase of 4.22 metres, which is about a metre longer than the standard A8 L.
The chassis has been built using aluminium, in order to keep the weight low. The extruded aluminium has also been used to increase the length of the car significantly. The roof comes with profiled tube as well and features a 2.4 metre glass fitting.
On the other hand, the interior comes finished in premium Valcona leather. The third row seats offers power seat adjusting system, while the last row gets entertainment attachments such as cool box and entertainment display.
Under the hood, the limousine gets a 3.0-litre TFSI petrol engine that generates 310hp of power output and 440Nm of peak torque. The engine comes paired to a eight-speed automatic gearbox along with Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system. The automaker claims that the car can easily hit 0-100kph in 7.2 seconds and offers a top speed of up to 250kph.
