Apparently, the journey of Bajaj V15 has been proved to be one of the most successful journeys in the history of the India’s very old and popular automaker- Bajaj. This latest offering from the company has reached the 1 lakh units sales mark in the country and the count is still enhancing up day by day. The spirit of INS Vikrant- V has been launched here a couple of months back and seen an overwhelming embrace by the audience since then.
Within the first week of the launch, the bike has got an appealing response from the customers and clocked 20,000 bookings, and since that day, nothing could stop it from being on top. Within two months of its arrival, the motorcycle grabbed the position in one of the top 10 selling motorcycles in the country.
Recently, the managing director of the company has stated that Bajaj Auto is going to launch new V bikes as well owing to the huge success and appreciation they got from the Indian bike enthusiasts. Their sole agenda is to seize the biggest pie of the commuter market and hopefully become the strongest competitor in the two-wheeler market.
Bajaj V15 gets a heart of a 149.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which makes the machine run at a power of 11.8BHP and at a torque of 13NM. All the power is transferred to the rear wheel via a 5-speed gearbox.
Undoubtedly, the decent success of the bike, which consequently leads to the enhanced sales number is because of the used steel from INS Vikrant- India’s first battle carrier aircraft making motorcycle parts. Besides this, the bike’s economic nature is again one of the key factors that boosted the sell well in the market. The motorbike carries an affordable price tag of INR 62,000 (Ex-showroom, Delhi) that is fairly budget-friendly when it comes to pricing.
