Bajaj has already covered up a wide range of youth segment customers by offering the most stylish and sporty motorcycles in India. The firm's offering includes Pulsar series of sports motorcycles, Bajaj Discover; commuter segment motorcycle carrying attractive looks, Bajaj Platina; a complete commuter package and the youth's first choice; Bajaj Avenger. Well, you must have heard or surely had a ride over the Bajaj's 90's scooter, commonly known as Bajaj Chetak. Yeah!! The very same scooter carrying a punch line of "Hamara Bajaj". You can still see someone out of hundred people riding that scooter and having no issues to continue with the very same.
Now, it seems that the Bajaj is looking to re-launch its elderly and successful products again in the Indian market. Just a few days back, the manufacturer has re-launched its well-famed Bajaj CT 100 in the 100cc commuter segment. The CT 100 was taken off from the Indian market back in the year 2006 and now it has made a comeback after a hiatus of 9 long years. Talking about the upcoming Bajaj Chetak, it would probably be a gearless scooter carrying a retro-styled look, competing with the likes of the Italian brand's Vespa scooter.
Although, the KTM brand is also doing well in the Indian market, but it seems that the entire line-up of the Bajaj is badly missing the presence of having a scooter among them. After being the ruler in the sports motorcycle segment by offering Bajaj Pulsar, the company is now planning to jump into the scooter segment competition in India.
According to the latest reports, the upcoming Bajaj Chetak scooter could be making its appearance at the Auto Expo, which will be going to held in the month of February, 2016. The anticipated mechanism of the upcoming scooter would be carrying a single-cylinder, four-stroke motor carrying an engine displacement varying between 125-150cc and loaded with various enhanced technologies. Stay tuned to get more information regarding the launching of the Bajaj Chetak scooter.
