Bajaj Launches New Platina Comfortec in India at INR 42,541

The native two-wheeler maker Bajaj Auto has silently introduced the new Platina Comfortec in the country claiming more comfort and style to the rivaling bikes in the segment. The auto giant has recently launched fresh color schemes for its Bajaj Avenger Cruiser 220 and the Bajaj Avenger Street 150 in order to get more attention from the cruiser enthusiasts and receive a positive response from them.

On a technical note, the Bajaj Platina Comfortec gains a bit more of the longer front and double spring suspension, say 28% extra as compared to the concealed 100cc motorcycle. This package that Bajaj is imparting on the Comfortec is 20% more resistant to the jerks in comparison to the leading 100cc commuter that was scrutinized against it.

With regard to the performance, the silently launched motorcycle respires via a 102cc DTS-i engine that is capable of churning out 8.2PS of power at 7,500 RPM and 8.6NM of torque at 5,000 RPM. A 4-speed transmission performs well in transferring all the power to the rear wheel. Perceiving this configuration, the mileage claimed by Bajaj is of 104 km/l as per the testing norms of ARAI.
