The Pulsar 200NS was introduced by the company in 2012.The naked-sport version was manufactured with a triple-spark design, along with a four-valve SOHC engine. In terms of technology, power and performance, the 200NS has become the best bike in the marquee of 200cc genre.
Now-a-days, the manufacturer is planning to launch an FI system in Pulsar 200NS, where the FI stands for 'Fuel-Injection'. Being equipped with fuel Injection system, the engine will deliver more power and torque than the previous model. However, the Bajaj Auto has not yet announced it for the Indian market, but the company might launch an FI version in the Indonesian market soon.
Well, this is not the first time when Bajaj is working on a Fuel Injection system. The company had already introduced the FI in the Pulsar 220 in the year 2007.
The fuel-injected version will be more powerful and fuel-efficient that will surely set it on the top position in the sports bike portfolio. Alike the KTM Duke 200, the Pulsar 200NS FI will come with the same technology. The standard condition being 60KMPH will make this motorcycle return 50KMPL.
Contrary to the people's expectations, there is nothing new in this bike, as it borrowed the same features from 'nose to tail'. It only gets Fuel Injected System in the place of carburetor that will offer the straight-line performance.
On the mechanical front, the Pulsar 200NS FI is powered by the same 199.5 cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, SOHC-4 valve and liquid-cooled engine that churns out 23bhp of power and 10Nm of torque to the rear wheel through the 6-speed transmission.
The price of the Pulsar 200NS FI will be a little bit higher than its regular version.
