It appears that showcasing the upcoming motorcycles and then made it most rumored and awaited have become a marketing strategy for motorcycle manufacturers these days. The Indian based Bajaj Auto also follows the same routine to launch its motorcycles, especially Pulsar Series. The reason behind teasing Pulsar admirers is to increase the craziness and passion among the youth for the next coming model.
Here we are talking about Bajaj Pulsar 200SS and 400SS. Both of these motorcycles are being spied a lot of times during its testing and the conceptual models of these motorcycles are also showcased by the company at the Delhi Auto Expo, 2014. The manufacturer had scheduled 2015 launch for both, 200SS and 400SS, despite the fact that the company might have been busy in the launching event of Bajaj Discover 150 motorcycles. A 150cc commuter segment motorcycles, Discover 150S (Standard faired) and Discover 150F (Front-faired), which have been launched two days back.
Coming towards the Bajaj Pulsar 200SS, which will be taking some more time to pull-up the curtains, is also rumored to receive FI technology prior to launch. The Fuel-Injection Technology will be enabled to improve the fuel-efficiency to fetch good power output and providing preferential performance. According to a presumption, the 200cc engine along with FI technology will be able to pump out a total power of 26BHP. The fuel-injected engine would convey fuel-efficiency of 48KMPL.
The company's decision of launching Pulsar 200SS and Pulsar 400SS without any gap could definitely affect the sales of motorcycles. Well, the power figures mentioned here are just results of guesstimate; the manufacturer hasn't confirmed anything about it yet. The sales of Pulsar 200SS completely rely on the pricing of the motorcycle. It is expected to carry a price tag of Rs 1.35 Lakh for the non-ABS variant and the ABS model costs Rs 1.50 Lakh (on-road Mumbai).
