The Baja Auto Ltd. has finally launched the all new Adventure Sports siblings, named as Pulsar AS 200 and Pulsar AS 150. The launching ceremony was addressed by Mr. Sumit Narang, Head of Marketing at Bajaj Auto Ltd. explaining the enhanced technology used by the Bajaj boffins in the newly launched Bajaj Pulsar AS 200 and AS 150. Since the inception of the Bajaj Pulsar series of sports motorcycle, it has been ruling the Indian two-wheeler industry from past 14 years, carrying an unbroken leadership in the industry.
The company has addressed both the motorcycles as "Everyday is an adventure" and claims that it has the power to go any distance. Talking about the cosmetic styling acquired by both the siblings are pretty much similar with each other. The Pulsar AS 200 and AS 150, both the adventure sports motorcycles are featuring projector twin head-lamps, perimeter frame and Alpha Male styling. Being an Adventure Sports motorcycles, both have acquired high stiffness and aerodynamic styling to offer you a better riding quality.
The Bajaj Pulsar AS 200 is featuring a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DTS-i engine carrying an engine displacement of 199.5 cc. The firm has installed Triple-Spark technology in order to achieve improved power and torque figures. The 199.5cc displaced engine is capable to generate a maximum power of 23.5 PS. The Bajaj Pulsar AS 150 is powered by 149.5cc displaced engine incorporated with twin-spark, air-cooled motor. It is tuned to deliver a maximum power of 17 PS, which is highest in the 180cc to 223cc segment.
The firm will be offering the Pulsar AS 200 and AS 150 in three paint schemes; Blue, Black and Red. The Pulsar AS 200 will be making its appearance in the two-wheeler industry carrying a highly affordable price tag of Rs 91,550 (Ex-Showroom Delhi) and the Pulsar AS 150 is priced at Rs 79,000 (Ex-Showroom Delhi).
