The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is now officially uncurtained by the Bajaj Auto Ltd. at the launching ceremony in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The upcoming sports motorcycle has now become the newly launched motorcycle in the country. Initiating the ceremony, the Bajaj officials have given the introduction about the Bajaj Pulsar RS200, explaining those things and components, which sets it apart.

During the event, the Bajaj boffins have confirmed the technical specifications of the newly joined motorcycle in the portfolio. The Pulsar RS200 is powered the very same single-cylinder motor carrying an engine displacement of 199.5cc. The 4-Valve, liquid-cooled, triple-spark engine is equipped with a fuel-injection system and is capable to deliver a maximum power of 24.2 BHP @ 9500 RPM and achieves a peak torque of 18.6 Nm @ 8000 RPM. Being the fastest Pulsar yet, it is having redlines at 11,000 RPM.

However, the Bajaj has satisfied millions of its fans by introducing ABS in its newly launched Pulsar RS200. The manufacturer will be offering two variants: ABS and Non-ABS. The dual-channel ABS unit is incorporated with front and rear disc brakes. The riding quality is enhanced by installing telescopic front forks with anti-friction bush and Nitrox monoshock suspension set-up at the rear. Being a Race Sports motorcycle, it is equipped with MRF Zapper tyres and carries a 13-liter fuel tank capacity.

Performance wise, the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 reaches a top speed of 141 KMPH, as per company claims. The kerb weight of the fully-faired sports motorcycle is 165 kgs. The fastest Pulsar has been blessed with analog-digital instrument console, which is featuring analog tachometer, temperature gauge, digital speedometer carrying a clock and reminders for side stand and motorcycle servicing. The power-to-weight ratio of the Race Sports motorcycle is 148.5 BHP per tonne.

Cosmetically, the aggressiveness of the Pulsar RS200 can be seen from its projector headlamps and the LED DRL's and tail-lamps. The fully-faired has carried a perfect head-turner look. Moving towards the pricing section, the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is not that much pricier, even I would say that the manufacturer has taken care of everything to make it a pocket friendly race sports motorcycle, while equipped with various enhanced components.

The base variant of the Pulsar RS200, i.e. without ABS is priced at Rs 1.18 lacs and the ABS base variant will cost you Rs 1.30 Lacs (Ex-Showroom Delhi).
