Recently showcased entry level adventure tourer-BMW G310GS at the passing EICMA 2016, as expected could make its entry to the Indian market by the next year end. However, the German manufacturer-BMW Motorrad has never announced any detailing about its Indian Launch till now.
Though, BMW G310GS Indian launch has been confirmed at the brand’s official channel. While replying the question of twitter user’s, the automaker has answered by mentioning the arrival time of the most affordable and accessible motorcycle from the stable. If reports are to be believed, the BMW wants that much time to develop an all new setup of dealerships network to bring in these TVS-BMW JV manufactured bikes in the country. Altogether, the emergence of the G310R is so far as it is likely to launch by the early next year. This might be one of the reasons for delaying the entry of this new adventure tourer.
Then a strong guess suggests, BMW G310GS launch will happen during the next festive season. it's certain that it will turn out as a plus point for the automaker as the Indian audience prefers to do most of its vehicle-related shopping at that time. As for now, the market status revealed, the Royal Enfield Himalayan is the sole adventure vehicle available in this engine capacity. it would also be counted as a surplus for the manufacturer as it will rollout the motorcycle tagged with a competitive price sticker, fall in the range of INR 2.4-2.6 lakh. The G310 GS will go on production line at the TVS Motor Company Hosur based production facility, where BMW G310R and other mdoels announced in partnership, is being manufactured.
