The German sports bike maker, BMW Motorrad is gearing up for the launch of the much-awaited G310R in India two months ahead from now. One of the official sources confirmed about the arrival of the bike in November as what else would be best to unveil the beast than from the festive season itself? In order to seize the attention of masses, the automaker now releases a promotional video of the G310R prior to the launch.
Last year in November, the forthcoming production model was revealed before it went for a showcase as a stunt bike concept. As per the earlier plan of BMW, it was about the launch the bike in the fourth quarter of this year, however, a spokesperson told: ‘The G310R is still on course to launch this year and will be in dealerships in late November.’
As if this wasn’t enough, the German giant has recently divulged a custom modified G310R for the Indian market as well. When it comes to promoting the bike in question, BMW has always been innovative to make task better than previous. A couple of weeks before, the sports tourer was introduced in a comic book as well, highlighting the features clearly. Moreover, an adventure-based model of the bike christened as G310 GS is under works too.
We are certainly on a safer side via the 313cc single-cylinder engine along with a six-speed gearbox, which the motorcycle is going to get. Being the BMW’s first sub-500cc bike, it will endeavour to beat the small-capacity nakeds in the segment such as KTM 390 Duke, Yamaha MT-03 and Kawasaki Z300.
