BMW G310R Launched in UK, Sale Starts at GBP 4,290 (Rs 3.88 lakh)

Developed in Joint Venture of BMW Motorrad and TVS Motor Company, the highly awaited BMW G310R launched and will be available for sale in the UK at the existing price tag of GBP 4,290 (Rs 3.88 lakh). The beast made its first showcase at the 2015 EICMA Motor Show in Milan. With the BMW G310R, the German bike maker made its debut in the entry level naked streetfighter segment.

Apparently, the aggressive looking bike holds muscular front end with the equipped raked headlight, massive fuel tank, bikini fairing, visible frame, star shaped alloy wheel. The compact handlebar, knee recess, centre placed foot pegs and stepped single seat are suitable for sporty and dynamic riding.



At the powertrain, the G310R boasts the all new 311 cc single-cylinder engine as the beating heart of the roadster. The loaded engine is tuned to produce the power and torque figure of 34 bhp and 28Nm respectively. The engine is coupled to a six-speed gearbox to transfer all the generated power to the rear wheel. To decelerate the naked roadfighter disc brakes of 300mm and 240mm at the front and rear wheel are assembled respectively. The Dual channel ABS is also integrated with the braking system. On suspension, the G310R carries sturdy USD front forks and mono shock at the rear.

Reportedly, post India launch in October, the G310R will go on sale at the price tag nearer to Rs. 1.8 lakh (ex-showroom). Debuted at 2016 Delhi Auto Expo, the BMW G310R will compete with the already available Austrian bike maker offering KTM Duke 390.
