Before even its launch for the public, BMW M4 was hugely anticipated by the people all around the world and now when it has been launched, the car gets even warmer response not only from the car enthusiasts, but from the general population as well. BMW launched M4 coupe and M3 sedan together and both of them are super classy vehicles of the company with immense power producing capabilities and of course torque as well. Now, as the launch has been done, all its driving features are out in the market and the car has pretty much retained its soul to make it drift in every corner.
BMW M4 is powered by a twin turbocharged 6-cylinder V6 engine working at a maximum of 7500 rpm. It produces staggering power of 4234 hp @ 5390 – 7000 rpm and 550 Nm torque @ 1800 – 5390 rpm. The car has its manual transmission retained for the drift and that very much zeal the driver while driving. However, a dual clutch transmission is also an option available with this. Like its predecessors, it has the ideal rear wheel drive which, according to the drivers is a basic necessity for a drift car.
Though, the used to sound of V8 engine is gone in the BMW M4, but it has become more efficient by 40% and lighter by 80 KG to improve the overall driving experience for the passengers and driver. The speed is also not concern as it races to 100 km/h mark in just 4.1 seconds and hit the top speed of 250 km/h as well.
