The world’s largest luxury car manufacturing company, BMW has launched the updated version of its 5 Series with the name of BMW M5 in India at an approximate price of INR 1.35 Crores. This mid size luxury sedan has been brought to the country via Completely Built Unit (CBU) and vendors have also started taking orders. It gets transcendent upgraded exteriors with renovated sharper headlight cluster, revised signature kidney grille comprising M badge, while its front as well as rear bumpers remain unchanged alongside brawny air intakes and wide diffuser. Moreover, 5 spoke alloy wheels are replaced by new 7 spoke alloys and its tail light receives stunning LEDs.
Inside, the vehicle includes more classy and premium features as compared to its predecessor. Fine wood trimmed leather upholstery increasing charm of this runabout and sport three spoke steering wheel renders tremendous aspects with a bunch of integrated controls. On the other hand, It also comprises 25.9 cm colour display, Head-Up display, BMW apps and Harman Kardon surround sound system. Mechanically, this BMW M5 is powered by a 4.4 litre twinpower turbocharged 8 cylinder engine, which generated incredible output of 560 hp as well as stupendous torque of 680 Nm.
Within only 4.3 seconds, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h using 7 speed dual clutch transmission system and in 1 litre fuel consumption, this newly launched car covers appreciable distance of 10.10 km. Apart from these features, safety functions have also been enhanced by offering air bags, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Anti lock Braking System (ABS) holding Brake Assist, Active M Differential, front active headrests and Active Protection along with Attentiveness Assistant.
