BMW planted Cruise control as standard in K1600GT and K1600GTL

BMW has planted cruise control as standard equipment in its K1600GT and K1600GTL bikes. This feature is introduced in the 2015 version of these bikes. There is a good amount of other features which have been packed in this bike. The Dynamic traction control system will now be made available as a standard feature throughout its variants. This system was earlier available as BMW motorbikes factory installed package for safety.

BMW K1600GT to be introduced in 2015

The updated version of BMW K1600GT and K1600GTL has got many new bits which are also there in other bikes of the company which is scheduled for 2015 launch. The new version has got a keyless start/stop function along with steering lock-unlock and fuel tank lid opening. The keyhole has been replaced by a push button which is programmed for dual functionality. Rider needs to press the button for few seconds to get the steering unlocked. Pressing the button again after unlocking it will start the engine.

BMW K1600GT to be introduced next year

Similar options have also been included in the BMW R1200GS and its adventure version along with some more features comprised of heavier crankshaft, shift assistance pro, lowered seats etc. The BMW k1600GT will be made available in Black Storm Metallic, Light White and Glacier Silver Metallic.
