BMW is all set to embark its next generation X6 at the 2015 BMW Golf Cup International that will held at Royal Golf Club, East Jakarta. While in India, this runabout is expected to be arriving via CBU route in a couple of weeks, the Indonesian market seems to get its appearance in the showrooms next month. The updated model will be introduced in three variants, which would have distinct engine options. At first, the xDrive 35i receives a 3.0 litre petrol unit to produce power of 306 hp, whereas the xDrive 40d is powered by a 3.0 litre diesel engine that is capable in churning out an appreciable power of 306 hp.
Coming to the third one, xDrive 50i is machined with a 4.4 litre V8 petrol mill to pump out am incredible power of 407 hp. Among all of these described variants, only xDrive 35i petrol will be available in Indonesia along with an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox. Ahead of hitting a top speed of 240 km/h, this trim will mark 100 km/h of speed from a stand still in just 6.7 seconds.
Unlikely, the Indian spec model will make its presence in the market in xDrive 40d version as well as in the most powerful BMW X6 M trim. Now, spilling the beans about other features, the second generation X6 will bear Adaptive LED headlights, comfort access, Bang & Olufsen high end surround sound system and Navigation System Professional, comprising Touch Controller.
