Classic Legends, a subsidiary of Mahindra which has launched highly-anticipated Jawa Motorcycles, has lately confirmed the Introduction of two other names under its umbrella in the coming future. They would be BSA and Yezdi bikes. The later is planned to debut at the Auto Expo 2020.
BSA, is a British Motorcycle firm which was acquired by Mahindra and Mahindra company back in October 2016 for INR 28 Crore. While the Yezdi were retro classic bikes spawned by Ideal Jawa in yesteryears. Well, the exact launch timeline is not known yet though we can expect them by next year end of early 2020. However, one thing that is clear, the BSA will launch first and be joined by the Yezdi bikes in the queue.
In terms of power, we could see the BSA bikes packed with displacement engine either with 500cc or 750cc. While, for the Yezdi bikes either the 250cc motor (used back in time) or a refined, improved Mojo based engine can take place under the fuel tank.

BSA bikes which mean a single spec globally will not only be limited to the Indian market but also be exported to the overseas markets. However, what will be under the fuel tank? only the time will tell.
Under Mahindra’s Classic Legends supervision, the Jawa Motorcycles has been resurrected with the introduction of three bikes in front of the global audience. Out of which two models which are range starting ones, the Jawa and the Jawa Forty Two have been launched and started to be available soon on sale. While the top-spec variant the Jawa Parek keeps on hold and will be launch in the later phase of operations by early next year. The deliveries for the models which has hit the Indian biking industry is expected to commence by early next year post the company gets operational by 5 December 2018 or near about.
The Jawa dealerships will serve the customers of all the brands from the dealership\'s network containing 105 outlets under Classic Legends moniker across the country. In the market, the Royal Enfield\'s range of 350cc motorcycles and UM Renegade range will be the competitors of the newly-launched Jawas. The Yezdi bikes, on the other hand, are expected to feature an all-new, smaller displacement engine and lighter in weight to create a new unchallenged segment in the country.
