Bugatti, the well known sports car maker owned by Volkswagen, is yet again preparing to get you mesmerized by a new entrant in its lineup. After ceasing the production of Veyron, the company has gone ahead to bring in its successor model, which will be called Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo. Before revealing the actual upcoming model, the automaker has previewed a prototype of the same at the Frankfurt Auto Show. This 1:1 scaled concept gives a hint as to what shall the actual Vision GT look like. At the first peep itself, this supercar significantly justifies the victorious history that Bugatti has created in all the Le Mans 24-hours races.
The captivating exterior of the coupe car receives a horse shoe grille, which is bordered by a pair of LED headlamps on either side. It also houses bulging wheel arches, large rear wing, front splitter, center lock wheels and pronounced character lines. This concept model seems to be a race spec with all its stylish and distinguished outlook.
From inside, it gets trimmed with carbon fibre and there are matte blue accents found throughout the cabin. The steering wheel as well as steering column display important information fetched by three cameras mounted at the exterior portion. This aids the driver in obtaining a better view of the surroundings, thereby making the drive more convenient and safe.
Bugatti has not revealed the mechanical specifications of production spec, but it is possible that the same 8 litre W16 engine might be fitted under the hood that powered its predecessor. This powertrain will be revised so as to make it even more powerful for the new GT. Being a sports car, it is obvious that an AWD mechanism will be integrated with the motor.
