CFMoto 300NK, 650NK, 650MT and 650GT Launched in India

CFMoto, the Chinese motorcycle manufacturer which was due to launch in India from a long time, has finally been entered to the Indian two-wheeler industry. The brand has launched its 650 range of motorcycles consisting the CFMoto 650NK, 650MT and 650GT along with the 300NK, as an entry-level offering. Here in India, the operations of CFMoto motorcycle will be handled by the brand’s Bengaluru-based partner AMW Motorcycles. The pricing for these motorcycles starts at INR 2.29 lakh for the 300NK and goes up to INR 5.49 lakh for the 650GT. While the models like the 650NK and the 650MT carry the price sticker of INR 3.99 lakh and INR 4.99 lakh respectively. The online bookings are expected to commence from August 5, 2019 and the showroom dispatches are likely in October this year.

CFMoto 300NK;

CFMoto 300NK is a street naked motorcycle, which is based on an exposed steel trellis frame. From the fuel tank view, it looks muscular while the side view gives it an appeal-like the KTM 250 Duke. in true means, the 300NK is a proper streetfighter.

Under the fuel tank, the international-spec 300NK is packed with a 292.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox, the engine is rated to develop 34hp at 7,200rpm and 20.5Nm at 8,000 rpm.

Among major highlights, the sport-naked gets a TFT display with ride modes (Rain and Sport) and USD fork upfront in association with mono-shock at rear front.

In its segment, the 300NK will take combat with the likes of the KTM 390 Duke (INR 2.44 lakhs), BMW G 310 R (INR 2.99 lakhs) and the Honda CB300R (INR 2.41 lakhs).

CFMoto 650NK:

CFMoto 650NK is also a naked street bike, however, it seems more muscular over the entry-level 300NK model. In comparison, it could be considered as the xerox of the CFMoto 400NK available in the international markets.

The global-spec 650NK is powered by the 649.3cc, liquid-cooled, in-line twin-cylinder engine. Mated to a 6-speed transmission, the engine is tuned to produce 61hp at 9,000rpm and 56Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm.

It would be surprising to know that remaining all the model launched here, the CFMoto 650NK is the only model that features conventional telescopic fork along with the common mono-shock unit on all the trims. It weighs 206kg that makes it lighter among others.

CFMoto 650MT:

It is an adventure tourer model that is designed for motorcycle’s easy take on to uneven terrain. That’s why the motorcycle gets an adjustable USD fork with 140mm of travel suspension and high ground clearance. In addition to this, the equipment which supports adventure touring includes an adjustable windscreen, knuckle guard on the handlebar and a single piece seating.

The bike which weighs 218kg (kerb) which makes it heavier over the 650NK. Under the fuel tank, it shares the same powertrain with other models in 650 range. However, it is tuned to develop power more than others, at 71hp at 8,750rpm and 62Nm of torque at 7,000rpm.

CFMoto 650GT:

The 650GT is a sports tourer meant for long highway trips. It comes packed with LED headlamps with an L-shaped DRL, large fairing, adjustable windshield and a huge 19-litre fuel tank.

The power figures for the international-spec 650GT stands at 62.5hp at 9,000rpm and 58.5Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. As the company claims, the motor is tuned to supply better mid-range power so that the need for constantly changing gears has ended. Not even this, the sprocket on the 650GT are large as compared to the 650NK and the 650MT.

At the suspension front, the 650GT gets 38mm KYB telescopic fork up front and a rear mono-shock unit. In terms of features, the sports tourer is embellished with a 5.0-inch TFT digital instrument panel with two layouts (Touring and Sports), a 12V power socket for charging facility and a USB charging port as well.

CFMoto offers all its models with the standard warranty of 2 years which can further be extended to five-year. As of now, the dealership network of CFMoto contains seven dealerships while Delhi and Pune are expected to join soon.
