The Indian SUV market has been on the rise since the last year or so and many companies, despite offering only luxury options have succeeded in the market. But, one car which hasn't been able to bring the sales in this successful market is the Chevrolet Captiva. Even the company tried offering the facelift and all, but still the results was very same. This time again, Chevrolet is trying to get some decent results for the car and hence offering one more facelift version.
The upgraded facelift version of the Chevrolet Captiva has some minor changes from the version that was demoed to the world 2013 Geneva Motor Show and landed in India in August. The major tweaks will be on the front side as a new grille, bumpers with LED DRLs and more. There could be some interior changes as well with, but the things are not out yet. On the engine specs too, the company didn't feel any need to change it as the car already been driven by an impressive 2.2 Litre diesel powertrain, which can produce effective 186.5 PS power and astonishing 425 Nm of torque.
The company has many hopes on this car and as the market is swinging in the direction of more sales, this new facelift version could do something different this time. Chevrolet has to fight with Toyota Fortune, BMW X5 and other big giants with this car and it'll get launched on the Paris Motor Show in October, most probably.
