General Motors has launched the limited edition of its famous entry level hatchback car Chevrolet Spark in India with some minor interior and exterior changes in a price range of INR 3.44 – 3.99 Lac. According to the company’s top officials, the new Chevrolet Spark limited edition is to exceed the demands and expectation so the urban nuclear families in India. The car has been launched in seven colors viz Linen Beige, Caviar Black, Summit White, Misty Lake Metallic, Velvet Red, Sandrift Grey and Switchblade Silver and will compete with cars like Hyundai Grand i10 and Maruti Suzuki A-Star.
The car comes with the features like steering wheel cover, ambient foot-well lighting, matching neck rests, beige seat covers with red strips and new carpet floor mats on the interiors. And, for the exteriors, the new Chevrolet Spark limited edition has changes like chrome kit outside rear view mirrors with turn signals and integrated side body graphics. Though the engine is as same as the previous version, which is a four cylinder 1.0 Litre Petrol with 63 PS power @ 5,400 rpm and 90.3 Nm torque @ 4,200 rpm output.
This limited edition is more secure than the regular variant of Chevrolet Spark as it has its 51% of total body weight made up of high-strength steel with optimized links between the sills and the B-Pillar, which makes sure that the car will be on the safe side in case of an accidental collision. Customers also get the standard 3 year or 100,000 kilometer warranty with this limited edition as they were getting in the regular variant of the Chevrolet Spark.
