The Datsun Go+ seven seater compact MPV is likely to be launched sometime next year and ahead of its Indian appearance the overall features as well as specifications of this runabout have been unconcealed. As it has already disclosed that the vehicle includes one more row of seats that converts it hatchback into an MPV and aside from this, a 1.2 litre three cylinder petrol engine has also been inherited from its outgoing version. Talking about its outputs, this carriage will churn out a standard power of 67 bhp at 5,000 rpm and an appreciable torque of 104 Nm at 4,000 rpm alongside a 5 speed manual transmission system.
Under a consumption of 1 litre of fuel, the Datsun G+ can cover a commendable distance of 20.62 km. Coming to its dimensions, this runabout is 3,995 mm in length, 1,635 mm in width, 1,490 mm in height and receives a wheelbase of 2,450 mm. On the other hand, it gets ground clearance of 170 mm and boot capacity of 18 litres, which could be expanded up to 347 litres via folding down its third row. If we spill the beans about its variants, this MPV has four distinct models, such as D, D1, A and top end T trim will be available with power steering, central locking, full wheel covers, HVAC system, Body colored bumpers and front power windows.
The car is expected to introduce as a rival of Chevrolet Enjoy, Honda Mobilio as well as a base gasoline variant of Maruti Ertiga early next year between an approx price of INR 4.5-5.75 Lacs.
