Joining other automakers in the bandwagon, Datsun is also gearing up to come up with various cars at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. Earlier, reports suggested that the upcoming Go-Cross could be a part of the event and now recently, the automaker has teased the image of the crossover and mentioned the venue as well as the date when this showcase will be held. The model had already made its appearance at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. In India, the Go-Cross could be the first car to be launched from the brand followed by others in the lineup.
Datsun already sells Go hatchback and Go+ MPV and now Go-Cross will be added to the range that derives styling cues from the hatch. Initially, it will be rolled out with a 5-seat configuration and later a 7-seater could be made available. Moreover, the mechanical specs will also be the same with a 1.2 litre, 3-cylinder petrol motor that churns out a maximum power of 68Bhp. As of now, there won't be any diesel engine as well as an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) facility on the offer.
